Intel’s latest ARC series smart GPUs are set to hit selected markets including India in the next few weeks. GPUs are currently available in select markets such as China, and these graphics cards are aimed at entry-level gamers who want to play games with 1080p or 1440p resolution.

According to Intel official documentation, you need to have the latest Intel CPU to get the most out of Intel ARC GPUs. The company says it needs to enable a resizable BAR feature to get the most out of these GPUs and will only support 10th, 11th and 12th Gen Intel Core processors.
Interestingly, Intel made no mention of AMD CPUs, so this feature may be limited to Intel’s latest CPUs. This does not mean that you can not use Intel ARC GPUs, but it does mean that you can not get the best possible performance from these GPUs. Intel claims to work almost exclusively with Intel 600, Intel 500 and Intel 400 series motherboards.

What is resizable BAR?
Resizable BAR is a technology that allows the GPU to use all available video memory at once. The system with resizable bar technology provides better gaming performance. Is this a big deal? Not really. However, if you want to get the best performance possible from future GPUs from Intel, it is best to pair them with the latest Intel CPUs.
Upcoming Intel ARC GPUs
The Intel ARC A380 is Intel’s first sophisticated GPU, recently launched in China for around $ 150. The GPU comes with 1024 FP32 cores as well as 8 Xe cores. As for video memory, the GPU offers 6GB of GDDDR6 memory with a 75W rated TDP, which converts it into a power-efficient graphics card.
The Intel Arc A380 supports technologies such as DirectX 12, so you should be able to play most games on the Arc A380 without any problems. When it comes to price, the Intel Arc is priced at around Rs. 15,000 and fits well with the gaming RIG, priced at around Rs. 50,000.
