The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra smartphone was launched worldwide on Wednesday except in India. It comes with a front camera below the display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W charging and has a curved AMOLED display that is said to have received the lowest blue light certification from the TÜV Rhineland. The smartphone has three cameras with a 64-megapixel sensor.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Price, Availability
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is priced at $ 799 (approximately Rs. 62,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and $ 899 (approximately Rs. 70,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. In Europe, these variants are priced at EUR 829 (approximately Rs. 70,800) and EUR 949 (approximately Rs. 79,100) respectively. That is Available Black color is for pre-booking only and sales start June 21st.
The phone is not available for purchase in India. It was launched in China earlier this year.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) ZTE Axon 40 Ultra runs on Android 12-based MyOS 12 and has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,480×1,116 pixels. Display Advanced UDC display chip with 20: 9 aspect ratio, low blue light certification and 120Hz refresh rate from TÜV Rhineland. Under the hood, the phone comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
For photography, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra 64-megapixel IMX787 has a triple rear camera with f / 1.6 aperture along with a primary sensor. There is also a 64-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 64-megapixel periscopic telephoto shooter. On the front, it features an under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra has UFS 3.1 built-in storage up to 256GB and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. DTS: Features dual stereo speakers enhanced by X Ultra technology. The phone gets an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback. There is an under display fingerprint sensor and NFC for connectivity as well as Bluetooth v5.2.
