Apple iPhone 14: Price, Release Date and How to Preorder

Apple has announced the iPhone 14 lineup, which includes the base iPhone 14, the slightly larger iPhone 14 Plus, and the faster, more capable iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Each of those links will take you to previews. Stay tuned for full reviews, where we’ll tell you whether Apple’s A16 Bionic chip is worth the upgrade, as well as see how some of the cameras and other new features (like Satellite SOS) perform in the real world.

If you already know you want to buy one, here are the details straight away: Preorders begin Friday, September 9th at 8AM ET / 5AM PT. Almost all phones will be released on Friday, September 16, with one exception. That’s the iPhone 14 Plus, which will be released on October 7. If you’re thinking about buying an iPhone 14 (or, heck, all four variants — follow your bliss), we’ve listed some retailer links that might seem worthwhile, along with retailer and carrier promotions.

Where to preorder iPhone 14 and 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 will be available for preorder through Apple, starting at $799 for the 128GB model. Going up to 256GB adds $100, while getting 512GB of storage costs $1,099.

The iPhone 14 Plus with 128GB of storage starts at $899 and follows a similar price trajectory for storage upgrades. $999 to double the storage to 256GB, then $1,199 to get the 512GB version. As mentioned above, this model will not be released until October 7.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are placed next to each other, their displays showing a colorful wallpaper.

Just like previous years, you can choose between Pro and Pro Max variants of Apple’s latest iPhone.
